Cybersecurity in the Age of AI: ASSOCHAM Gujarat Conference Sparks National Dialogue

GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 21st JULY 2025: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) hosted its prestigious Gujarat Conference on “Cybersecurity and Resilience in the Age of AI” at the Renaissance Hotel in Ahmedabad. The event brought together a distinguished group of industry leaders, technocrats, government officials, educators, and cybersecurity experts to explore how AI is transforming the digital security landscape.

This year’s theme, “Cybersecurity in the Age of AI: Building Trust & Governance at Scale,” focused on strengthening India’s cyber infrastructure through collaborative innovation and governance-driven security frameworks.

During the ceremony, cyber pioneer Amit Singh—who has been shaping the cybersecurity landscape for over a decade—was felicitated for his remarkable contributions to the field. He shared valuable insights on IT infrastructure planning and the role of cybersecurity in driving industry growth. Amit also emphasized the growing importance of securing Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems, highlighting how both domains serve distinct functions within modern industries and require tailored security strategies to protect critical assets.

The conference was powered by government support from the Department of Science & Technology and GIL, and supported by Reliance Industries, SBI, and DEV IT as key partners. It concluded with a strategic networking session aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in the cybersecurity domain.

With a strong focus on AI governance and cyber resilience, ASSOCHAM once again reaffirmed Ahmedabad’s standing as a pivotal force in India’s cybersecurity evolution.
