NATIONAL | 15th DECEMBER 2025 — Following a complaint filed by Perfetti Van Melle India (PVMI), the Dhandhuka Police, Gujarat, conducted a raid and identified an unauthorised unit allegedly producing and packaging products falsely using the Chupa Chups name and brand elements. An FIR has been lodged by the Police, and appropriate criminal action is being pursued against the offenders.
During the operation, authorities seized items that falsely suggested association with Chupa Chups. PVMI confirmed that the seized products are not manufactured, supplied, licensed, or authorized by the company in any form.
Perfetti Van Melle India maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward counterfeiting, trademark misuse, and any unauthorized replication of its brand identity. The company is cooperating with law-enforcement agencies and will continue to provide necessary assistance to support the ongoing investigation and legal action.
