Ahmedabad 17th December 2024: The Sicilian Games 2024, the most exciting and largest privately-held sporting event in Ahmedabad, commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony, setting the tone for a month-long celebration of sportsmanship, fitness, bonding and unforgettable memories.
Organised by BNI Ahmedabad in collaboration with Sicilian Ventures, the event is poised to be a thrilling blend of competition, celebration and connection for the city’s business community.
The grand opening ceremony on Saturday featured an impressive lineup of events, including the Captain’s March Past, where team captains led their squads with pride and unity, and the unveiling of the dazzling Sicilian Trophy, the ultimate goal of every BNI member competing in the tournament.

As part of the opening ceremony, the BNI community was also treated to a spirited pickleball match between BNI Directors and Ambassadors, a perfect mix of friendly rivalry and teamwork. It was followed by Ahmedabad’s first-ever Night River Run, where the participants came together for a vibrant and thrilling experience under the city’s starlit skies.
The month-long Sicilian Games 2024 will see more than 3,000 BNI members from over 50 BNI chapters across Ahmedabad taking part in various sports, blending the excitement of competition with the spirit of celebration. With the stage set and the excitement building, Ahmedabad is ready to witness an unparalleled sporting extravaganza that unites its business community like never before. Let the games begin!
