Ahmedabad 19th January 2025 : The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West and the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Supreme hosted an inspiring talk on the timeless teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita by IPS officer Safin Hasan. The event, organised under Rotary’s presidential theme of “The Magic of Rotary”, drew an enthusiastic audience looking to explore the profound wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita through the lens of modern challenges.
Delivering the keynote address, Safin Hasan, who holds the record as the youngest IPS officer in the country, shared his unique perspective on the relevance of the Bhagavad Gita’s teachings in today’s fast-paced world. He highlighted the principles of duty, perseverance and self-discipline and their role in navigating personal and professional lives.
“This event organised jointly by Rotary Ahmedabad West and Rotary Ahmedabad Supreme showcases Rotary’s commitment to intellectual and spiritual growth. Bhagavad Gita’s teachings are eternal and transcend time and generations. The talk, organised at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Sunday, concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organising teams, including Rtn. Jatinder Kaur Bhalla, President of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad West, Rtn. Purvish Patel, President of Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Supreme, and Project Chairman Rtn. Vikas Thakkar.
