ADIDAS AND BCCI UNVEIL THE ALL-NEW TEAM INDIA ODI JERSEY WITH THE INDIAN WOMEN’S CRICKET TEAM

In the second year of partnership with the BCCI, adidas reveals a fresh jersey design for the ODI format for both the Women’s and Men’s Cricket Team

With tricolour ombre sleeves and a true-blue colour body, the all-new ODI jersey will befirst worn by the Women’s Cricket Team during the upcoming India versus West Indies bilateral series starting December 22, 2024

The ODI jersey will be available for fans starting December 2nd, 2024, at two different price points – Rs. 5999 (authentic match jersey) and Rs. 999 (fan jersey) at select stores, app, and website https://www.adidas.co.in/cricket

Ahmedabad 02nd December 2024: adidas, the official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team, came together with the BCCI at their Headquarters in Mumbai to unveil the new ODI jersey with captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, Harmanpreet Kaur. For the first time in cricketing history, the jersey wasunveiled with the Indian Women’s Team. This landmark moment is a testament to adidas’ commitment towards women in sportboth on and off the field,along with the BCCI’s efforts towards accelerating women in cricket.

Commenting on the partnership and the iconic ODI jersey, Neelendra Singh, GM, adidas India, said,“Our partnership with the BCCI is one that we take great pride in & are excited for this historic moment as we progress into the second year of this collaboration. The jersey will be first worn by the Women’s national team on-field during the upcoming India versus West Indies bilateral series starting December 22nd, 2024. Following the women’s team, we will also witness the India Men’s team donning the jersey during the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy tournament early next year. In its second year of partnership with the BCCI, adidas will continue to provide both the women and men’s Indian cricket team with brand-new match wear as well as a revamped training and travel range.

Designed in a striking true-bluecolour, the new ODI jersey is characterized by a bold tricolourombre effect on the sleeves, celebrating India’s pride and national fervour. Further, for a comfortable experience during extended matches, adidas has updated the jacquard base fabric with a terry loop patternand has also introduced cut & sew detailsto enhance the jersey’s durability along with incorporating theClimacool+ technology for faster sweat absorption.Made with 100% recycled material, the jersey embodiesadidas’ commitment to sustainability while also delivering a state-of-the-art performance kit for the Indian Women’sand Men’s cricket teams.
