NEW DELHI | 13th NOVEMBER 2025 — Indian–American author and investor Jay Patel has released his debut book, “Barrister Mr. Patel,” commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — India’s Iron Man and the architect of national unity.
After two years of intensive research, including archival exploration and field visits to London, Patel presents a vivid and inspiring account of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s early years as a barrister and his transformation into one of India’s greatest nation-builders.

About the Authors
Jay Patel is an Indian–American investor, author, and film producer with ventures spanning healthcare innovation, frontier technologies, and philanthropy. Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and based in New York, Patel’s work bridges Indian heritage and American innovation. His inspirations include Pandit Shyamji Krishna Varma and the legacy of India House, London, reflecting his deep passion for stories that unite cultures and generations.
The book is co-written by Abhishek Dudhaiya, noted filmmaker and storyteller.
