Ahmedabad, Gujarat 07 October 2024– Indian audiences will experience the spellbinding magic of ‘Scheherazade’, an internationally acclaimed ice show produced and directed by legendary Russian figure skater and Olympic champion Tatiana Navka. This cultural extravaganza is being supported by Rosneft Oil Company, as part of the growing cooperation between India and Russia under the “Strategic Partnership Programme until 2030.”
Hosted at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad between 18th -20th October 2024, this remarkable show, through world-class ice-skating performances, vivid storytelling, and state-of-the-art visual effects, will bring to life the captivating tales of “One Thousand and One Nights”, portraying the story of the Persian king Shahryar and his wife Scheherazade, charming love story transcends language and borders in the form of a colorful musical and theatrical show on ice, one of a kind in the world.
The production will showcase the cultural richness of India, Egypt, Ancient Babylon, and Persia, weaving them into a mesmerizing tale of love and triumph. The show, presented with cutting-edge technology and stunning choreography, highlights the artistry of figure skating combined with Eastern influences, making it a unique and captivating experience for the Indian audience.
The stellar lineup includes world-renowned figure skaters: Tatiana Navka, along with Victoria Sinitsina, Nikita Katsalapov, Povilas Vanagas, Ivan Righini, Egor Murashov, and others, each bringing their champion-level performances to the ice.
