Ceremony at school in Talgajarda for the 25th consecutive year in the presence of respected Morari Bapu
Kundheli, Bhavnagar 13 January 2025: The Chitrakut Award, inspired by renowned spiritual leader Morari Bapu, will be conferred on 34 teachers from Gujarat on January 15, Wednesday. The awards will take place at the central school in Talgajarda in Bhavnagar district. One primary teacher from every district of Gujarat and one municipal corporation have been selected for the award by the Gujarat State Primary Teachers Association.
The list of the teachers selected for the award was released by President Digvijaysinh Jadeja and General Secretary Jaimin Kumar Patel. These teachers will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25,000, a certificate of appreciation and a shawl from Shri Chitrakutdham, Talgajarda. Sitaram Bapu of Adhewada Ashram will also bless and honour the teachers.
It is noteworthy that the Chitrakut Award is considered highly prestigious by 2 lakh primary teachers in the school. Morari Bapu has been presenting this award for the last 25 years. The award was initiated in the year 2000, and the selection process is conducted by the Gujarat State Primary Teachers Association. Retiring primary teachers from Mahuva taluka will also be felicitated during the ceremony.
