The world’s largest democratic party launched a national membership drive starting on September 2nd, with the first membership being taken by the country’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The goal of this membership drive is not only to once again make the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) the world’s largest democratic party, just as it did in 2014, but also to make this campaign all-encompassing and all-inclusive.
All-encompassing means that no booth in the country, whether in a remote mountain, island, dense forest, or wilderness, should be left untouched. All-inclusive means that any citizen of the country, regardless of caste, religion, or creed, should be connected to the ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The BJP is the only party that does not consider its members and workers just as numbers. Every BJP worker is a living entity, a carrier of ideology. Here, the worker nurtures the work culture and acts as a link between the government and the organisation, always keeping the government connected with the people.
Today, there are more than 1,500 political parties in our India. But there is no other party, except for the Bharatiya Janata Party, that conducts a membership drive every six years in a democratic manner, with trust and openness. It is well known that there was a time when the BJP had only two members, and today, the BJP is not only the largest democratic party in India but also the largest in the world. This is a testament to the uniqueness of the BJP, which has endured numerous hardships, challenges, defeats, and setbacks during its struggle but never allowed its efforts to cease.
Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, over the past 10 years, 60 crore poor people have received homes, electricity, toilets, rations, gas, and free healthcare up to 5 lakh rupees. At the same time, under the BJP government, today’s India envisions the construction of a developed, empowered, and prosperous nation. Whether it’s rural or urban development, energy or space, digitization or infrastructure, robust development has taken place in every sector under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. This leadership has also strengthened internal and external security in the country, enabling India to achieve new heights every day.
After the completion of this membership drive, a new organisation will be formed, and once again, the campaign for India’s victory and BJP’s victory will begin. Therefore, it is essential that we all expand the Bharatiya Janata Party by reaching every village, every home, every city, every island, forest, and mountain, so that we can realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a great and developed India
