Centred on the theme “Wisdom of Health Life”, the event will feature an expo, exhibition, conference and a series of knowledge-sharing seminars. Its focus is on integrating Ayurveda into general medical practice and highlighting the growing relevance of Ayurveda in addressing day-to-day clinical challenges. Speaking about the event, Vaid Hitesh Jani, Organising Chairman of Ayur Vivek Mahotsav, said, “Ayurveda offers time-tested solutions for many of the health challenges faced in general practice today. Through Ayur Vivek Mahotsav, our aim is to showcase how classical Ayurvedic principles can be applied effectively in modern clinical settings.”

The event will also feature multiple workshops covering areas such as shalakya kriyakalpa therapies, garbha sanskar, agnikarma, marma chikitsa, Ayurvedic beauty therapy and OPD-based Panchakarma procedures.

During the event, live, hands-on training workshops will be conducted on specialised subjects including bhagnachikitsa, lep-upanaah, vranachikitsa, pattabandhan, nadividhya, ksharkarma, saundarya chikitsa, karnapalivedhan and dantotpatan.

Free OPD camps for guidance on diseases related to kidney, skin and eyes, and conditions like diabetes, arthritis, autism, etc. will also be organised on January 10 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm by Ayurveda experts. A special public session on “Indian Cow : Health- Wealth & Mindfulness” has also been organised the same day. Vaid Hitesh Jani, Provost of Gau Vishwa Vidyapeetham, will speak at the event, which will also be attended by Governor Acharya Devvrat.

Vaid Falgun Patel, Organising Secretary of the Ayur Vivek Mahotsav, said the event is designed as a platform for learning, collaboration and skill enhancement.

“With participation from thousands of practitioners, teachers and students, the event will facilitate exchange of clinical knowledge, hands-on training and dialogue on the future of Ayurveda in mainstream healthcare. We invite people of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar to benefit from the event,” he said.

At a time when lifestyle disorders, chronic illnesses and autoimmune conditions are on the rise, Ayurveda’s holistic approach, which focuses on prevention, balance and personalised treatment, has gained renewed importance. By addressing the root cause of disease and emphasising diet, lifestyle and natural therapies, Ayurveda continues to play a significant role in building sustainable healthcare systems.

Ayurved Vyaspeeth, the organiser of the Mahotsav, has been actively working for over 27 years to promote, preserve and advance the ancient science of Ayurveda. The organisation serves as a unifying platform for students, practitioners, teachers, medicine manufacturers, policymakers, farmers cultivating medicinal plants and entrepreneurs, all working towards the development of Ayurveda. Its work is guided by four core pillars of Seva (service), Sanshodhan (research), Prachar (promotion) and Shikshan (education), and spans more than 10 states across India.
