Pravin Masalewale Launches Suhana Noor Range Inspired by Mughal Kitchens

PUNE, INDIA | 06th MARCH 2026 — Pravin Masalewale, one of India’s fastest-growing spices and food solutions companies, has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Suhana Noor, a new range of blended spices developed to recreate the authentic flavors of traditional Mughlai cuisine for home cooking.

Indian cuisine is an eclectic mix influenced by various inspirations over its 8000+ years history. The country’s culinary heritage stems from age old civilizations, influenced in latter years by Western Asian & Persian culture, followed by Mughal and British influences. Over years, Mughlai cuisine has become an integral part of Indian food – be it in the form of Kormas & Curries, Tikkas & Kebabs, or the varied forms of the much-loved Biryani.

The core of the Mughlai cuisine lies in its processes involving slow cooking to bring out the flavors of the food and the layered gravies. Most important however are the mix of spices used that integral to bringing alive the authentic taste of the various dishes.

Suhana Noor endeavors to present to consumers a range of spices that help them make the most popular dishes of the Mughlai cuisine at home while retaining the authentic taste experience of these dishes.

The range has been introduced to cater to consumers who enjoy preparing and eating Mughlai dishes but seek a more authentic taste experience than other spices currently available in the market. Suhana Noor offers a range of specialist offerings that recreate classic recipes from the Mughal kitchens.

The range includes dedicated blends for biryanis, gravies and starters, such as Shahi Biryani Masala, Bombay Biryani Masala, Sindhi Biryani Masala, Chicken Korma Masala, Mutton Korma Masala, Karahi Masala, Achar Gosht Masala, Dalcha/ Dal Gosht Masala, Nihari Masala, Shami Kebab Masala and Seekh Kebab Masala.

Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of Mughlai kitchens and centuries-old culinary traditions, each spice blend has been thoughtfully developed through over two years of intensive research by the company’s R&D team. The process involved deep exploration of Mughlai history, regional cooking styles, and consultations with experts to faithfully recreate the cuisine’s royal flavors. Only the finest ingredients have been handpicked, with select blends such as Biryani enriched with distinctive elements like dried plums—an ingredient traditionally used to add depth and subtle sweetness. The entire range is produced at the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, seamlessly blending heritage with modern quality standards.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vishal Chordia, Director – Strategy, Marketing & Finance, Pravin Masalewale, said, “At Suhana, we have always focused on developing products tailored to local tastes, whether through our Gujarat special range or Karnataka special products. There is a growing demand for cuisine-specific spice blends, especially for non-vegetarian dishes that are increasingly cooked at home.  With Suhana Noor, our aim is to simplify the preparation of popular Mughlai recipes while preserving their authentic depth of flavor. Despite its popularity in restaurants, Mughlai cuisine remains underrepresented in the packaged spice segment, and this range seeks to bridge that gap with convenient, affordable blends for everyday home cooking.”

The Suhana Noor range is being rolled out across general trade and modern retail outlets in select markets and is also available on leading e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms. A wider distribution is planned in the coming months as part of the company’s growth strategy in value-added spice mixes.

Pravin Masalewale is a pioneer in ready-to-cook spice mixes, offering 40+ variants that deliver both authentic taste and convenience in cooking, in domestic as well as multiple international markets. Its brands include Suhana, Ambari and Sarvam, along with its master pickle brand, Pravin.
