During the Ramkatha, Morari Bapu revealed that an ardent katha listener named Minal approached him with tears in her eyes and shared the struggles of her daughter, Shivani. Minal told Morari Bapu that Shivani was suffering from severe depression, and bullying at school had driven her to even contemplate suicide.
With his characteristic warmth and empathy, Morari Bapu called Shivani to his side and gently asked her if she would be willing to give away the ramnaami (shawl) he had given her. Shivani firmly replied that she would never give it away as it was a cherished gift from him.
With a tender smile, Morari Bapu responded, “When you are not willing to give up the ramnaami given by me, why do you want to give up this beautiful life the Lord has gifted to you?”
Morari Bapu explained to her that life, in all its struggles and triumphs, is a gift to be cherished and celebrated. He also advised that if she did not like going to school, she could pursue online studies. Recognising her talent for dance, he encouraged her to share her gift with the audience.
