Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline celebrates Independence Day with Treasure Hunt 2.0

Ahmedabad 15 August 2024: The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline celebrated the 78th Independence Day with a series of exciting events, highlighted by the much-anticipated Treasure Hunt 2.0. The event, which saw over 135 participants, brought the community together for a day of adventure, camaraderie and service.

The Skyline community hoisted the national flag to mark the significant occasion. They danced and celebrated with fellow citizens, enhancing the festive spirit of Independence Day. The other activities included distribution of food packets and sweets among the needy, distribution of school bags to underprivileged children, feeding cows, and tying Rotary Skyline rakhis to police personnel.  The participants also spread the message of hygiene and raised awareness about child labour as part of their community service.

The Treasure Hunt 2.0 took participants on a citywide journey, discovering hidden treasures. The unique and interactive experience saw the participants navigating through various checkpoints across the city, completing the challenges and sharing joy with others.

Vandana Natani, Chair of Treasure Hunt 2.0, said, “Treasure Hunt 2.0 was not just about the thrill of the hunt, but about connecting with our community, celebrating our heritage, and inculcating a feeling of community and camaraderie among the participants. The overwhelming response and energy from everyone involved made this event truly special.”

Following the hunt, participants gathered for a celebratory lunch, where awards were presented to winners and participants, recognising their contributions to the day’s success.

Saurabh Khandelwal, President of the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, said, “The success of our Independence Day celebrations and Treasure Hunt 2.0 perfectly illustrates the spirit of the Rotary community and the dedication of our members. We are proud to have organised an event that not only brought joy and excitement but also showcased our commitment to giving back to society.”
