Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Hosts Grand Installation Ceremony with Bollywood Retro Theme

The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline celebrated its installation program with great fanfare and a unique Bollywood retro theme, attended by over 400 guests. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest PDG Gurjeet Singh Dhillon, Installation Officer DG Mohan Parashar, and Induction Officer AG Jignesh Patel and many past district governors.

Held at the exquisite Peacock Hall in Taj Skyline, one of the finest venues in town known for its excellent hospitality, the evening was a dazzling affair filled with dance, skits, and celebrations that perfectly encapsulated the vibrant spirit of Bollywood. The focus areas of Rotary International were creatively presented through various dance performances, adding a meaningful touch to the entertainment. Over 70 Skyline members and spouses, including kids, participated.

The program was meticulously conceptualized by Rtn. Rekha Kabra, ensuring every detail resonated with the theme and the Rotary spirit. Incoming President Saurabh Khandelwal and  Secretary Ashish Pandey were formally installed during the ceremony. In his address, President Khandelwal highlighted his vision for the year, focusing on community service, fellowship, and expanding the club’s impact. His vision includes becoming one of the top 5 Rotary clubs in the world.

President Saurabh Khandelwal remarked, “This year, our motto is ‘*Bring a Friend, Build a Legacy*.’ We aim to *strengthen our community bonds and enhance our service projects to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need*. Our club values—Members Engagement, Entertainment, Business Opportunities, Sports and Fitness, and Service Above Self—will guide us in our endeavors.”

Secretary Ashish Pandey added, “We are committed to upholding the values of Rotary and working diligently towards our goals. The enthusiasm and dedication of our members are truly inspiring.”

The installation ceremony was not only a celebration of new leadership but also *a showcase of the club’s dedication to service above self. The Bollywood retro theme added a nostalgic charm, making the evening memorable for all attendees.

Skyline has become the first club in Gujarat and District 3055 to cross the 300-member mark, and the club inducted 111 new members.
