Service to Sadhus, Scriptures and Guru Essential for Eternal Equanimity: Morari Bapu

GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 01st FEBRUARY 2026 Renowned spiritual leader Morari Bapu said on Sunday that service to sadhus, sacred scriptures, one’s guru and samadhi is essential for attaining eternal equanimity and spiritual fulfilment. Morari Bapu was speaking on the occasion of presentation of the Shri DhyanSwamibapa honour to the revered Shri Lalji Maharaj Ni Jagya in Senjal Dham, Sayala.

Offering his respects to Shri Lalji Maharaj Ni Jagya, Morari Bapu referred to the Yog Vashishtha Ramayana, stating that the true purpose of spiritual pursuit lies not in miracles, but in realisation. He said that genuine spiritual experiences arise through inner readiness and merit, rather than outward displays.

Speaking about the current global conflicts, Morari Bapu expressed hope that universal welfare may be achieved through Sanatan values. He conveyed deep reverence for the age-old traditions upheld by saints at sacred sites, while also gently expressing concern over arbitrary interpretations and practices that deviate from the essence of Sanatan scriptures.

During the ceremony, the Shri DhyanSwamibapa Honour, inspired by Morari Bapu, was conferred upon Mahant Shri Durgadasji Maharaj, the present head of Shri Lalji Maharaj Ni Jagya, in the presence of numerous saints and other dignitaries.

The programme was anchored by Harishchandra Joshi, who gave insights into the traditions of Senjal Dham and the significance of the honour. On the occasion, Jankidas Bapu and Ganeshdasji Bapu also addressed the gathering and expressed their appreciation for this Sanatan initiative.

In the beginning, Tulsidasji Hariyani shared brief introductory remarks about Shri Lalji Maharaj Ni Jagya. The event was held in the presence of religious and social dignitaries and also included the temple Patotsav as well as a mass marriage ceremony organised by the Vaishnav Sadhu community.

Several revered saints and spiritual leaders, including Raghuram Bapa, Jhinaramji Maharaj and Bhaktiram Bapu, also graced the occasion.
