Ahmedabad 03 May 2025 – The city witnessed a splash of young talent today as the JGI Group, in association with Olympian Gagan Ullalmath, successfully conducted a Swimming Talent Hunt on May 3rd from 4 PM onwards at Savvy Swaraj Sports Club,Gota. The initiative drew an overwhelming response, with 110 young swimmers showcasing their skills and passion for the sport.
The event marked a significant step towards identifying and nurturing grassroots swimming talent in Gujarat. With Gagan Ullalmath – India’s representative at the 2012 London Olympics – leading the initiative, participants were given a platform to perform under the eyes of elite coaches and national selectors.
“The raw potential we witnessed today is truly inspiring. Our aim is to support and shape these young athletes into champions,” said Gagan Ullalmath, who personally interacted with the participants and shared insights from his Olympic journey.
Scholarship Opportunity:
A select group of talented swimmers from the event will receive exclusive scholarships from the JGI Group, providing access to top-tier training, facilities, and mentorship. The results of the scholarship selections will be announced within the next two weeks.
