Aeroplane Basmati Rice Maker Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Reports 128% Rise in Q1 net Profit

NEW DELHI | 04th AUGUST 2026 | Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Limited, a leading food processing and export company best known for its flagship Aeroplane basmati rice brand, has reported robust financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by strong revenue growth and significant improvement in profitability.

The New Delhi-headquartered company reported revenue of Rs. 663.7 crore for Q1 FY27, representing a 55% increase over Rs. 427.9 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Profit before tax (PBT) more than doubled to Rs. 47.5 crore from Rs. 21.1 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year, representing a 125% year-on-year increase, reflecting improved operational performance and efficiencies.

Profit after tax (PAT) rose 128% to Rs. 36.6 crore, compared with Rs. 16.1 crore in Q1 FY26, while finance costs continued to decline sequentially, further supporting profitability and margin expansion.

The performance marks a strong start to the financial year, marked by healthy business momentum, operational discipline and sustained demand across key markets.

The company was listed on the stock exchanges in April 2026 after raising Rs. 440 crore through its initial public offering. Of the net proceeds of Rs. 411.11 crore, it had utilised Rs. 409.2 crore as of June 2026.
