Dynamice Children Academy is the only institution in Gujarat that provides children with opportunities to perform on international platforms, proudly showcasing Gujarati culture, folk dances, and traditions. For the past 15 years, the academy has been consistently undertaking this unique initiative of taking the identity and richness of Gujarati culture to various international platforms across India and abroad.
AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 27th AUGUST 2026 | Fifteen children from Ahmedabad’s Dynamice Children Academy had the proud opportunity to showcase Gujarat’s rich and vibrant culture on the global stage. At the 30th International Children’s Festival held in Romania from August 15 to 22, children from Ahmedabad aged 9 to 14 represented India and presented a beautiful glimpse of Gujarati folk culture and traditional dance.
The international festival, held in Vatra Dornei, Romania, witnessed participation from dance groups representing 12 countries, including Slovakia, Georgia, North Macedonia, Russia, Poland and Turkey, along with groups from various regions of Romania. Bringing diverse cultures from across the world together on a single platform, the festival featured an approximately 25-minute dance performance by the children of Dynamice Children Academy.
The festival was organized in collaboration with the Government of Romania, the local municipality, and CIOFF. The Opening Ceremony, International Parade, traditional dance performances from various countries, and the Closing Ceremony were also broadcast on Romania’s national television channel.
Tirthraj Trivedi, Director of Dynamice Children Academy, said, “Our organization has been a member of CIOFF for the past 15 years. I have been associated with Dynamice Children Academy for the last 25 years, where children aged 4 to 14 are trained in various cultural activities. It is a matter of great pride for us to have once again received the opportunity to showcase a glimpse of Gujarati culture on the global stage.”
He further said, “For the past 15 years, we have been showcasing Gujarati traditions and culture through various cultural programmes held abroad. In the past, children from our academy have also presented Gujarati culture in countries such as London, Canada, Spain, France, Turkey, the Netherlands and Poland.”
During their visit to Romania, the children not only had the opportunity to showcase their own culture but also to experience and learn about the cultures of other countries up close. Playing traditional games with children from different countries, making new friends, and understanding each other’s cultures made the experience truly memorable for the children.
It is a matter of great pride for the entire state of Gujarat that children from the state are travelling to different countries around the world and showcasing the identity of their land through its culture, traditions, and art. At the international festival held in Romania as well, children aged 9 to 14 represented India and left a distinct impression of Gujarati culture.
The cultural presentation by the children of Gujarat on Romanian soil was not merely a dance performance, but a proud endeavour to take the message of “Gujarat’s Culture to the World.”
After returning from Romania, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel invited all the children to the headquarters and congratulated them on their achievement. Dynamice Children Academy has previously made commendable efforts to showcase Indian culture and traditions in various countries, including Poland, France, the Netherlands, London, Turkey, Cyprus, and Canada.
