Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma willlead ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet’ in Surat on 8th October to Connect with the Rajasthani Diaspora

JAIPUR / SURAT | 06th OCTOBER 2025: Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharmawill lead ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet’ on October 8 at Surat and invite the non-residents of the state, leading entrepreneurs and industrial leaders to invest in Rajasthan andcontribute to state’s socio-economic development to realise the dream of ‘Viksit Rajasthan’ by 2047.

Thisoutreach is a part of the state government’s efforts to connect with the people of Rajasthani origin living in different parts of the country andthe world as well as to encourage them tobecome a part ofRajasthan’s growth journey. The outreach is also aimed at encouraging greater participation in the upcoming ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas’, which is slated to be held in Jaipur on 10th December 2025.

Besides the Chief Minister, Shri Jogaram Patel, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs, Shri Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health and Engineering Department, Shri Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce,and other senior officials of the state government will also be the part of delegation.

The ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet’ in Surat will bring togethernon-resident Rajasthanis, prominent industrialists and government officialswith an aim to strengthen ties and unlock new avenues for industrial partnerships and investments in the state. The Chief Minister-led delegation will also hold one-on-one meetings with senior officials of Surat-based different business groups like pharmaceuticals, textiles, ceramicsand petrochemicals, etc. after the ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet’.

The ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet’ at Surat is second such event after Hyderabad, which was held two weeks back.  The outreach aims to ‘Connect, Collaborate, and Contribute’to Rajasthan’s growth trajectory and seeksto build momentum for the ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas’ – being developed as a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration with the state’s global diaspora.

The ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet’ in Surat is being organized in association with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), which is the event industry partner of the ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas’ 2025.
