CLAPS Industries Launches Clinically Evaluated CLAPSFEMINA™️ to Support Women’s Menstrual Health

AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 14th JULY 2026 | Healthcare company CLAPS Industries has launched CLAPSFEMINA™️, a clinically evaluated nutraceutical developed to provide comprehensive nutritional support for menstrual health and help manage symptoms associated with iron deficiency anaemia (IDA), heavy menstrual bleeding, menstrual pain and Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).

Developed under the leadership of Brihaspati Tripathi, Founder & Managing Director of CLAPS Industries Pvt. Ltd., CLAPSFEMINA™️ is the result of years of research and innovation. The formulation has undergone clinical evaluation and is supported by a published Indian patent application.

The launch comes at a time when growing attention is being paid to the role of nutrition in addressing menstrual health challenges and iron deficiency among women. CLAPSFEMINA™️ has been formulated with a combination of iron, folic acid and Vitamins B6, B12, D3 and E to support healthy haemoglobin levels, replenish iron stores, reduce menstrual discomfort, improve energy levels and support overall well-being.

The formulation was evaluated in a multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study conducted by Cliantha Research involving 128 women aged between 11 and 45 years diagnosed with iron deficiency anaemia associated with heavy menstrual bleeding and/or PMS. All participants completed the 105-day study.

The clinical evaluation demonstrated a 33.31% increase in haemoglobin levels and a 115.32% improvement in serum ferritin, a key indicator of the body’s iron stores. The study also reported a 47% reduction in heavy menstrual bleeding, a 51.5% reduction in menstrual cramp pain and an approximately 67% reduction in fatigue, alongside improvements in mood and overall quality of life.

The study also demonstrated improvements in red blood cell and platelet counts, while white blood cell counts remained stable throughout the study, supporting the formulation’s overall safety profile. No product-related adverse events were reported during the study.

Commenting on the launch, Bhrihaspati Tripathi said, “Women’s health deserves greater attention, particularly when it comes to nutritional deficiencies that often contribute to menstrual discomfort, fatigue and poor quality of life. CLAPSFEMINA™️ has been developed through a research-led approach to provide comprehensive nutritional support for women during their reproductive years. By combining clinically evaluated ingredients with scientific evidence, we aim to offer a solution that complements a healthy lifestyle while encouraging a more preventive approach to women’s healthcare.”

The formulation combines carefully selected micronutrients to support iron metabolism, blood formation and menstrual health. The launch expands CLAPS Industries’ portfolio of science-backed nutraceuticals focused on preventive healthcare and nutritional wellness.
