Gujarat, Ahmedabad | 14th July 2025: In a thought-provoking talk, renowned Prabodhak, Shri Som Tyagi invited the audience to pause and examine the underlying patterns that guide their everyday choices and the larger direction of their lives.
The event, titled Jeena Utsav Poorvak, urged the audience to reflect on a question often left unasked, “What’s your life’s algorithm?” The session, organised by the Agrahar Nagraj Foundation and supported by the Anand Niketan Group of Schools, drew a diverse gathering.
Addressing themes such as women empowerment, evolving aspirations, and the rise of materialism, Tyagi highlighted how society’s growing dependence on outward displays of success has overshadowed the emotional fabric that once held relationships together. He spoke of the declining value placed on emotions and people, and the way this shift is manifesting in fractured relationships and increasing isolation.
“Today, we are conditioned to chase after more things, more recognition, more distractions. But in doing so, we are often moving away from a life lived with awareness, purpose and peaceful co-existence,” he said.
He encouraged the participants to consider simpler, more conscious ways of living that align with the existential laws rather than external validation.
The chief of Agrahar Nagraj Foundation, said, “The talk offered great insights to recalibrate our lives based on values that nourish both the individual and society. In times of increasing consumerism and fractured relationships, such conversations are necessary.”
The interactive session allowed the audience to discuss their reflections and the space to reflect, share and connect.
