DELHI, INDIA | 28th OCTOBER 2026 | Marriott International Inc. announced a signed agreement with Himalayan Bliss Spa & Resorts to introduce Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts to the spiritual banks of Rishikesh with Le Méridien Rishikesh Resort & Spa, slated to open in Q4 of 2028. As travellers increasingly seek wellness, cultural discovery and immersive experiences that deepen their connection with a destination, Rishikesh is gaining appeal as an experiential travel destination. This is fuelling demand for trusted, high-quality accommodation that complements evolving travel aspirations. With its signature programming and distinctive approach to travel, the resort will offer curious, creative-minded travellers a fresh perspective on Rishikesh, inviting them to explore its local culture, design and cuisine in new and engaging ways.

Anticipated to feature 120 contemporary guest rooms and suites, Le Méridien Rishikesh Resort & Spa will blend the brand’s signature mid-century, modern aesthetic with design elements inspired by Rishikesh’s rich cultural heritage, creating spaces that reflect the brand’s timeless style and the destination’s distinctive character. Plans for the resort include an all-day-dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, meeting and event spaces and recreational facilities including a fitness center, swimming pool, spa, kids club and an activity center.
Strategically located near some of the city’s most notable sights, the resort will offer convenient access to the Laxman Jhoola in Tapovan, The Beatles Ashram and Triveni Ghat, known for its renowned Ganga Aarti, among other must-visit landmarks. The resort will be easily accessible via a well-maintained road network, while the Jolly Grant Airport is located approximately 20 kilometers away.
