Five soldiers were killed and five injured when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road in Jammu’s Poonch district on Tuesday evening. According to reports, the vehicle was en route from Nilam Headquarters to Balnoi Ghora post when the driver lost control. The vehicle plunged into a 350 feet deep gorge, leading to the soldiers’ deaths.
Renowned spiritual leader Morari Bapu has expressed his deepest sympathies for the deceased soldiers. He has dedicated an assistance of Rs. 15,000 to the families of each of the five soldiers. Shri Chitrakutdham Trust will deposit the contribution to the Army Welfare Fund.
Morari Bapu has also dedicated a sum of Rs. 15,000 to the family of a youth who drowned at Senjal village near Savarkundla.
Morari Bapu has offered prayers for the deceased persons in both incidents and sent his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
