AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 10th OCTOBER 2026 | Preparations are underway in full swing for a memorable Navratri festival in Ahmedabad. ‘Sankalp Nagri Garba and Mandli’ will welcome Garba lovers from 10 October 2026. The festival has been organised at a spacious venue on Sindhu Bhavan Road, featuring live music and traditional Mandli Garba. ‘Sankalp Nagri Garba and Mandli’ has been organised with a commitment to grandeur, tradition and culture. With a blend of devotion and enthusiasm, ‘Sankalp Nagri Garba and Mandli’ aims to provide people with a special platform to celebrate Navratri this year.
One of the main highlights of this year’s Navratri festival is its location on the main road of Sindhu Bhavan Road, ensuring easy and convenient access for visitors. Unlike other venues located inside narrow lanes, this venue on the main road makes commuting easier for Garba lovers and visitors, allowing them to enjoy the Navratri festival without any difficulty.
Spread across an expansive ground of more than 10,000 square metres, the venue will accommodate approximately 5,000 to 6,000 Garba enthusiasts dancing together at the same time. This Navratri festival will take place every day from 7:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The programme will feature live music along with traditional Mandli Garba, offering Garba lovers a unique experience of Navratri traditions, devotion and joy in an enthusiastic and lively atmosphere.
During a media interaction, organiser Dhirajsinh Rathod stated, “Our main objective behind organising ‘Sankalp Nagri Garba and Mandli’ is to worship Mataji while also providing the people of Ahmedabad with excellent music and a well-equipped venue to celebrate Garba. We want people to come together, celebrate our traditions and enjoy the festival of Navratri with devotion and happiness.”
