AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 23rd APRIL 2026 — EEPC India, under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, organized a Road Show & Industry Awareness Session on Pharma Machinery and Laboratory Equipment Sector in Ahmedabad as a precursor to the upcoming Pharma MachTechLabNext Expo 2026.
The session was graced by Chief Guest Shri Rahul Singh, Joint DGFT, Ahmedabad. Prominent dignitaries included Hardik Vyas, Vice President of Indian Pharma Machinery Manufacturers’ Association; Dr. H. G. The session highlighted India’s growing strength in pharmaceutical machinery and laboratory equipment, driven by automation, precision engineering, and increasing global demand. India’s pharma machinery sector is witnessing steady growth, supported by the country’s position as the “Pharmacy of the World,” with pharmaceutical exports exceeding USD 25 billion annually. The machinery segment is expanding rapidly with rising demand for USFDA- and EU GMP-compliant equipment, advanced packaging systems, sterile processing technologies, and fully automated production lines.
Speakers emphasized that Indian manufacturers are increasingly adopting Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT-enabled systems, robotics, and data-driven manufacturing, enhancing productivity and global competitiveness. The laboratory equipment segment is also gaining momentum due to increased investments in R&D, diagnostics, and quality testing infrastructure.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Rakesh Suraj, Director, EEPC India, encouraged industry stakeholders to actively participate in the Pharma MachTech&LabNext Expo 2026, scheduled from 7–9 September at Bharat Mandapam. He highlighted that the event as a premier platform for growth in global partnerships, showcasing advanced technologies, and driving export growth, aligned with India’s vision of becoming a USD 5 trillion economy.
